Tim McCann

Tim's background is exclusively civil litigation. While the large majority of his
time is spent representing physicians, hospitals and nurses in medical malpractice
litigation, he has also spent substantial time involved with employment and civil
rights litigation.

Tim graduated from Villanova Law School in 1982, cum laude, and was a 1976
graduate of Shippensburg State College. From 1982 to 1984, he was a litigation
associate at Obermayer, Rebmann, Maxwell and Hippel and for the next five years
he was an associate and then partner in the litigation department of Sprecher,
Felix,Visco, Hutchison and Young. Tim left Sprecher in 1990 to form McCann &
Mailey. Rich Geschke joined the firm the next year. Tim is a frequent presenter
to hospital and physician groups, discussing current issues in medical
negligence litigation.
