Matthew is a 2001 graduate of Villanova University School of Law and a 1998 graduate of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He has been a member of the Pennsylvania bar since 2001.

Before joining McCann & Geschke, P.C., Matthew worked at the Defender Association of Philadelphia advocating for the rights of the indigent. As an Assistant Defender, he prepared and tried felony and misdemeanor trials in both Philadelphia Municipal Court and the Court of Common Pleas.

Matthew joined McCann & Geschke, P.C. in June 2005, and works exclusively in the defense of medical negligence claims.
