June is a 1989 graduate of the William S. Richardson School of Law of the University of Hawaii, where she was a member of the Law Review, the Moot
Court Honor Board and the National Moot Court Team. She is also a 1985
graduate of the University of Hawaii at Hilo, with a B.A. in Anthropology and
minor in Hawaiian Studies.
June is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, Hawaii and New Jersey.
June initially worked in Honolulu at Moon, O’Connor, Tam & Yuen from
1989 to 1993 as a litigation associate, practicing in the areas of medical
malpractice defense, employment and labor law, insurance defense and asbestos
defense.
She returned to Philadelphia in 1993, where she next worked with Krusen,
Evans & Byrne until 1995 in the defense of manufacturers of pharmaceuticals
and medical devices. From 1996 to 2002, June was an associate at Christie
Pabarue Mortensen and Young, where her practice included the defense of clients
in medical malpractice, other professional malpractice, products liability,
asbestos litigation, commercial litigation, employment law and ERISA
litigation. June now concentrates her practice in the defense of hospitals,
physicians and other healthcare providers.
